Demonstrating Water Absorption in Plants using Celery and Food Coloring
Objective: To observe and demonstrate how water is absorbed through the stems of plants using food coloring.
This experiment is a hands-on way to demonstrate the process of water absorption in plants, specifically through the xylem vessels in the celery stalks. It’s a great way to visualize how water moves through the plant’s vascular system.
