Little Chefs in Action: Sushi Sandwiches! 🍞👩‍🍳🍱

This week, we had a super fun cooking class where our little chefs learned how to make a creative and delicious treat: Sushi Sandwiches! 🍙 But don’t worry, no raw fish involved! Our version was made with simple ingredients: bread, cream cheese, ham, and cheese.

The children were so excited to put on their aprons and get started! First, we flattened slices of bread using rolling pins to make them nice and soft. Then, they spread a layer of cream cheese over the bread (this was a great opportunity to practice those fine motor skills!). After that, they carefully added a slice of ham and a slice of cheese.

Once all the ingredients were in place, it was time for the fun part: rolling the bread into little sushi-style rolls! The children were so proud of their creations, and best of all, they got to taste and enjoy what they made.

It was a joyful and delicious experience that allowed the children to explore food preparation, follow step-by-step instructions, and build independence, all while having a blast!

We love seeing their curiosity and creativity shine in every activity.
