During the past months, we have practiced addition and subtraction within 20. Students were able to learn different strategies that would help them solve problems faster. To apply this skills in real life, we used word problems, we started solving book word problems and ended up creating our own in pairs. This was an amazing oportunity to let the children’s creativity flow, work with one another and integrate writing development too.
