Nouns
A noun is a word that names a person, place or thing. During this week we learned two different types of nouns in Language Arts class, Common and Proper nouns.
Common nouns name any person, place or thing. For example: Tree, Flower, etc.
Proper nouns name a special person, place or thing. It begins with a Capital letter. For example: New York, Santiago, Christmas, etc.
Our students developed activities in which they practiced the topic, and they used their own ideas to create their own sentences by using common and proper nouns.
